Family Life's Mental Health Ministries provides a holistic focus on the mental wellness of our members and our community. Safe spaces are provided for adults, as well as children to receive the help they need for any mental health issues they are dealing with. Family Life's leadership and Mental Health Ministries team members are trained in different aspects of mental health and can provide coaching, training, and referral services to families and individuals seeking help with mental health issues.

Family Life's Mental Health ministries is composed of two parts: Life Connection Ministries and Compassion Care Ministries. 

Life Connection Ministries Offer: 

- Peer Connections - we walk with individuals through the valleys of life by providing 1-on- 1 support in crisis situations. 

- Deeper Walk – We help individuals have a closer relationship with God. 

- Bridges to Care - We help individuals in their mental wellness journey. 

- Life Coaching - We help individuals attain greater fulfillment in daily life. 

Compassion Care Ministries Offer: 

- Comfort Care – We provide personal care for those who are hurting. 

- Caregivers Together – We provide care and support for caregivers. Our Caregivers Support group meet on Zoom every 2nd and 4th  Saturday at 4:00pm.

- Loss & Grief – We provide comfort and care for those who are experiencing loss and grief.

Family Life's Kidz Life Sunday camp is every Sunday morning at FLIM from 9:00am -12:00 pm and provides a safe space for children 5 - 12 to learn, share, and connect with their peers and caring adults. 

During the summer months, our Kidz Life Summer Camp provides a safe place for children and youth, where they are cared for, educated, and have fun as they interact with their peers and trained caring adults that are sensitive to the issues the children are dealing with. Kidz Life is available to children in our congregation and in the community. 

Family Life Youth Connect is held every Sunday morning at FLIM from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. It provides a safe space for

youth ages 13 - 19 to connect, have fun, and discuss serious life events that affect their growth and mental health. Youth Connect also meets on Zoom every Wednesday night at 7:15pm and every 5th Monday at 7:00pm. 

Community Conversations is a weekly mental health forum hosted on Zoom that provides a safe space for the overall community in our Trauma Talk every 1st Monday of the month at 7:00pm and Life Beyond Trauma every 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm; men in our Bro Talk every 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00pm; and women in our Sista Talk every 4th Monday of the month at 7:00pm.
