Training has really changed my life. I know it sounds cliche, but it really has changed my life and the lives of my kids and hopefully my kids' kids. Prior to training I wasn't really living, I was just going through the motions. I experienced a lot of trauma through my childhood that I carried through my adulthood and was unknowingly passing along to my kids. After going through training, I was able to identify and work through my trauma and now as I continue to work through, I am able to help my family members work through theirs and help my boys with the healthier mindset. The generational curse stops with me because of training. It will not continue with my kids nor my kids' kids. I'm forever grateful for giving me this opportunity to be the best me I can be. 

Family Life's Mental Health Ministries provides a holistic focus on the mental wellness of our members and our community. Safe spaces are provided for adults, as well as children to receive the help they need for any mental health issues they are dealing with. Family Life's leadership and Mental Health Ministries team members are trained in different aspects of mental health and can provide coaching, training, and referral services to families and individuals seeking help with mental health issues.

 Nikita L. Fox is a Mental Health Coach, Facilitator and Domestic Violence Advocate with Rapha Mental Health Ministries. 

She is also a Certified Peer Support Specialist and CASA Advocate. She has a Masters of Science degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word. She is passionate about facilitating the healing process for people who have experienced trauma, particularly in childhood and reconciling them back to Christ!
